Fenders are manufactured in high quality fiberglass with gel coat finish. Paint Preperation Fiberglass (FRP) parts require being sanded with 180 grit sandpaper to find any finish blemishes such as chips, scratches, and pin holes. Once the entire part has been 100% sanded it will require light body filler work to correct the blemishes and then the part can be primered and then sealed before it is painted. This procedure is the same for any fiberglass based brands such as RK Sport, Duraflex, AIT Racing, VFiber, VIS Racing. Fiberglass based parts are never shipped in a prepped, primed, and ready for paint condition. The more time your installer spends on prep work the better your paint and final product will be. **Surface scratches, pin holes, and gel coat chips do not deem a product defective and are part of a normal preparation process. On any over sized freight truck / tractor trailer deliveries you must inspect all packages immediately in the presence of the delivery person. Do not sign delivery receipt until all parts have been inspected. This means you must open the box and remove each item to inspect it for concealed damage. Aerodynamics orders may have concealed damage and if not noted at delivery you forfeit your ability to file a claim on the shipping insurance. It is important that you are aware of this and follow this policy to ensure you are fully covered in the event there is a problem. If you find damage to any items in your order please note them on the delivery bill and sign for the package.
